Good manners
There are only a few men who really got good manners. Surprised that Mr. T is one of them?
I used to be a regular fanzine reader a few years ago, but I am not very much into this scene anymore. I just don’t need to know any shitty little band, I am way to lazy to read all this stuff and the paper fanzine scene does hardly exist anymore (everything moved to the net). Well, a few years ago I got a fanzine called “Bierfront”, which came in the bulky A3 Paper Size and mainly reported about Punk-Bands. Needless to say that this zine also covered a whole bunch of complete (and funny) bullshit. So in one issue they dedicated a whole page to the phenomenon Mr. T. I guess everyone loves him and so did I. But I didn’t knew that besides being a member of the A-Team he has also released a record in the 80s which features edcuational songs to keep kids of the streets and of drugs. It was unbelievable that he got such good manners and so this article really got me. A few minutes ago I somehow thought about Mr. T and this old fanzine article and realized that I never heard a single sound of the record. As we are living in a connected world I quickly checked YouTube for him and found this video . I hope that his skills, his fashion, his haircut and last but not least his music entertains you.
We are all shit
While moving out Björn showed me this song (via Dasp) of the german band Nichts. They are from the 80s and pretty much a early punky version of the NDW. The lyrics are truly (funny and) great and reduce Slipknots famous “People= Shit”-Slogan to its real core: a bunch of shit.
Homezone
Ok, ok, guys.. sorry that nothing has happenend here for a while. But I finally moved out of my room at the last weekend and so I am staying at my parents since a few days. This means a 56k connection, which is basically like being offline. It is just impossible to surf properly with this kind of a “connection”.
Well, I am trying to do the best out of this situation by simply spending the time in the “real” world. I was quiet busy in the last days meeting up with old friends from home. I visited a friend who is going to New York for an internship in a few days, been to Karlsruhe yesterday to see a gig of a band by a good friend (check out their Myspace), sat on his balcony in Mannheim afterwards until it was way to late and right now I just returned from the first father in my circle of friends. He’s got a nice little boy…
The next days will be busy, too. So don’t expect too much. Rather read the new Spiderman 3 Blog. Nicolas Cage is in the cast…

Rocketboom 2.0
The first show of the “new” Rocketboom with former MTV VJ Joanne Colan is online. Well, it was definitively not the best episode ever (although I had to laugh when the punk said that he is going to “spraypaint” on his new jacket), but we’ll see where this is going to. I’ve always watched Rocketboom because of Rocketboom and not because of Amanda, so I am glad to have my daily rocketboom routine again.

World Cup Final
Congratulations Italy (although you guys weren’t my preferred team).
My darling and myself watched the game in a nice and relaxed atomsphere at the beergarden of the Lido. We went to a street down the road (Falkensteinstraße in Berlin-Kreuzberg) after the last penalty, where a whole bunch of people watched the game on the street (see the picture above). Very nice evening! But why Zidane why?
Today I saw a girl begging for an Euro in the Berlin subway. Actually, it was quiet weird, because she did absolutly not look like if she needed the money (clothes, etc…). But when a guy gave her 50 cent, she shouted “I wanted ONE euro” and dropped the 50-coin right front of him. I’ve never seen something like this before, but its pretty scary. Why world why?
